Biography

Neardey Trinh, Born in Cambodia in 1978, left for the U.S. with her family in 1980 . Neardey grew up in Fairfax, VA (the suburbs outside of DC). Neardey served 4 years of active duty U.S. Navy, and almost 7 years in the active reserve, supporting NATO. The experience deeply colored her understanding of world politics led her to pursue a BA in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from George Mason University. In 2010, Neardey completed her Master's of Science (M.S.) in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (S-CAR) from George Mason University. During her graduate studies, she became passionate in the topic of the Cambodian Genocide. Going back into her ethnic roots, Cambodian history and conflict became center of all her studies. Neardey has since worked at various prestigious consulting firms to develop her consulting and business experiences: L-3 Communications , Booz Allen Hamilton, System Research and Application (SRA) International Inc., Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG), and Protegus LLC. She also consults to various corporations in Business Development and leads the proposal process to capture business opportunities to expand the company. In 2012, Neardey partnered with Caylee So, Director/Writer/Producer and started Innovision Pictures, an independent production company to produce and tell compelling stories together. In 2012, Neardey signed on as a producer for the award winning short film titled "Paulina," directed by Caylee So and currently producing her first feature.
