Tommie Lindsay, Jr was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1973. However, due to his parents' divorce at an early age, Tommie has spent most of his life around the Kansas City, Missouri area. Having a Vietnam-era Marine for a Father, who later re-enlisted and retired from the Army, Tommie grew up with the self-discipline and hard work ethic to never accept hand-outs, always do his best in everything he did, and always leave room for self improvement.
Tommie entered the Army as a Junior in High School, following in his Father's footsteps. He started out as a Medical Specialist (Combat), then ended his military career as a Medical Specialist and Cannon Crew member in the historically acclaimed Battery D, 1/129th Field Artillery, which former U.S. President Harry S. Truman commanded in World War I. Upon exiting the military, Tommie was able to pursue his acting career full time!
While in the military, Tommie became interested in the camera after being chosen for an extra role in "Truman", which was later cut due to time editing. Since then, he was bitten by the camera and loved it! After many questions, he was guided to the independent film industry where he studied and was finally given a chance and has been a rising star ever since.
Tommie has been referenced as an actor who uses his own experiences throughout his own life to give life to the characters he portrays on film. Tommie wants his audience to "feel" his character and this is what sets Tommie apart from other actors. Tommie Lindsay Jr has the ability to virtually become anyone he wants to be on film.
Tommie's inspirations and role models for acting are David Caruso, Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler and he holds the most utmost respect for these great individual actors.
Tommie is always looking forward to the next role and always looking to make that role better than his last one and is always up for a challenge, especially in a role that portrays a character he has never done before and makes him think outside his box!
