Marianne Dasgupta

Marianne Dasgupta is the wife of the late Poet and Professor Pranabendu Dasgupta of the University of Jadavpur in Kolkata India. She was in the teaching profession for many years as teacher and principal of quite a few reputed schools in Kolkata. She is an educationist, an author, an actress, an enviable art collector but above all she is helping kids with books and tuition fees, spreading awareness about education. Being a cancer survivor, she does a huge amount of work to spread cheer among cancer patients.
