Brian Starr

Brian Starr started screen writing in 1999, receiving top 10% placement in Nicholl and the Austin Film Festival with scripts including "Leaving Bethany" and "The Brass Ring". In 2010 he and his wife were awarded semi-finalist in the Austin Film Festival for a script the co-wrote called "Bigfoot and the Devil", placing it in the top 12 comedy scripts of the year. In 2012, again with his wife Jillian Starr, he wrote and directed the animated short "Backspace".
