Born and raised just outside of Boston, MA, Bella relocated to Orange County, CA in 2006 and emerged on the burgeoning transsexual porn scene in 2009. Citing health issues, she stepped down from her role in the production of Translation, effectively ending the show after only six episodes. She also suspended operations of Bella-XXX. Shortly after, in 2014, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, from which she recovered in early 2015.
