Samantha Scarlette is an Alternative Rock singer/song writer & fashion designer, originally from Saddle River, NJ.
Samantha Scarlette released her first EP titled "Into The Darkness" was released in digital format June 28th 2011. The songs on "Into The Darkness" were written by Samantha (music & lyrics) between October 2010 and March 2011. The songs mostly deal with veiled vampire themes, and romance. The EP was comprised of 4 studio recorded tracks ("Fallen Star", "The Demon", "Mourning Fantasy", "Bitten (instrumental)", and 5 garage band recorded tracks ("The Demon (original tempo)", "The Let Down", "Burn", "Lights Out", "Let Me In").
In October 2013 she released a new single titled "Iron Maiden" as a stand alone single. She is currently in the process of writing & recording for a new release which will be out in the later half of 2014.
In the later half of 2012, Samantha started a clothing line called äGØ+H Clothing by Samantha Scarlette. The line currently focuses on high quality grunge & gothic themed t-shirts, hoodies and accessories for men and women. Samantha hopes to expand out to doing a full line of women's high end rock clothing. As of 2014, A Goth is still up and running.
Samantha is credited as the Music Supervisor on the feature length documentary film "The Vision Of Paolo Soleri: Prophet In The Desert" (which is currently on the US & European film festival circuit). Samantha was in charge of selection for the film and going after the music licensing. The film's sound track features songs by CKY, Andrea Bocelli, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and Justin Salter.
In the mid 2000's Samantha would make non-serious bands with her friends, they sometimes record parody-type of comedy songs on her Apple laptop. One of the parody songs her & a friend wrote/recorded under the band name Winter At The Overlook, ended up being played on SiriusXM show in 2007.
From 2007 to 2013 Samantha interviewed & photographed rock bands and occasionally extreme sport athletes, for a web blog she created. Almost all of the bands she interviewed & tours she covered were and are major bands/tours (such as My Chemical Romance, The Vans Warped Tour, Avenged Sevenfold, Take Action Tour, Black Veils Brides, The Maloof Money Cup).
