Gia Labarbera

Born Gia Isabella Ölvirsson. Known for The Independent Session (2011), and Crashing (2016). She originally trained as a ballet dancer and left school at 13 after winning a scholarship. After her ballet career, she moved into modelling and presenting. Gia's abiding passion for music then dominated her life. She was taught to DJ by none other than Alan McGee and then went on to travel extensively on tour buses for many years, DJing Internationally. After several years touring her somewhat tumultuous lifestyle eventually found focus and Gia studied acting at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and then Law at Birkbeck University.
