Rachel Linehan was born on November 21, 1995 in Scottsdale, Arizona (USA). Early on, she established a reputation for writing entertaining short stories, which she would sometimes share with her classmates. Rachel has always loved storytelling.
Rachel's interest in film began at age eleven while goofing off at a friend's birthday party. Her friend wanted to "make a music video," an experience which completely enchanted Rachel. During the following years she began writing screenplays, as well as short stories.
Rachel won several awards at school for her creative writing talent. She still wasn't quite making the movies she wanted to yet. Through school projects during her middle school years, Rachel developed her video talents and was recognized for them.
Serious filmmaking however, started when Rachel began attending Pinnacle High School. Her freshman year was littered by small projects with a bit of shining quality here and there. Sophomore year, she began writing Sober, a full-length film and quite an undertaking for any underclassman. She completed the film over the course of the year, which has met with critical recognition and success, including an Award of Merit from "The Indie Fest" held in La Jolla, California.
Rachel continues to promote Sober, and is also working on her new projects such as The Inspiration of Charlotte Burke and Being Selfish. On top of all this, Rachel is an honors student and a very active member of Pinnacle's Drama Department. She is currently training to be stage manager. Rachel strongly believes in the art of cinema and looks forward to many great adventures, (especially those stories waiting to be told!)
