Michael T. Agnew

Independent director and producer Michael "Miket" Agnew crafts feature-length film projects with motion picture studios for advertising agencies and public corporations across the US, including Fortune 500 companies and a handful of challenger brands. Miket's edgy expertise is shared by History Channel, BET Awards, Deadliest Catch, FX Sons of Anarchy, Monster.com, MTV, Sony, NIKE, Guitar Hero, Ikea, Oracle, Yahoo, Coca-cola, 7-UP, Bacardi, Bing, Comcast, DC United, Jose Cuervo, Navy Federal Credit Union, Telemundo and similar clients. A well-known event and concert promoter- and always on double-duty -Miket wears his hats well, both behind the camera and as a record label executive - the natural culmination of his two decades of promoting events, concerts and festivals for clients like Jayz, Method Man, E-40, Too Short, dead prez, Dru Down, 3xKrazy, Yukmouth, Mac Dre, Cool Nutz, Mistah FAB, Thizz Nation, B-Legit, JDiggs, Infiniti, Mob Figgaz and many more. Miket began carving his promo groove over 20 years ago as a hip-hoppin' high-schooler, promoting house parties for his friends, then local bands and DJs. The fledging talent was soon lending his promo skills to Japanese nightclubs, during his tour of duty as a marine deployed to Okinawa. Following the service, Miket hit his stride as an event promoter in Portland, Oregon for one of the nation's top event PR shops, Double Tee Promotions. Never one to stop hoppin', though, Miket also managed to squeeze in earning a BS from Portland State University and hosted a popular radio show, Off the Chain. at KPSU. After Portland State University, Miket also became the happy proprietor of a retail store, Big Tyme Music, selling new music releases together with complementary clothing, cell phones and accessories, combining the look and sound of music. From the back room of Big Tyme emerged Mind Elevations Media, an incubator for innovative graphic design, video editing, photography and film that showcases concerts, enhances artist management and facilitates the running of Miket's closely curated record shop. Finally, Miket is an independent movie producer and director working to create feature length movies projects with various film companies across the United States.
