Agustin Betancourt

Born in Cuba, Gus' love affair with film began early on, as he spent the first 11 years of his life watching International Cinema. Literally raised on "subtitles", he developed a great passion for the movies that still holds true today. In 1971 he arrived in the United States, a place he will call home from then on. He was a resident of Miami for 39 years. His passion for film progressed in 2002 when he attended New York Film Academy in pursuit of being a Film Director. There he directed four student films and acted in a dozen others. Gus has also acted in several television commercials and is currently working on a script for a feature film. Gus has three children, Michelle, Anthony, and Agustin Jr. and is currently living in New York City.
