Manoli Ioannidis has appeared in a variety of film, television, and theatre productions over the past decade. During this time he's performed alongside many talented actors, most notably Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Liam Hemsworth (in the movie Empire State). Other notable actors he has worked with include George Eads and Lucas Til while appearing as a guest star on the CBS hit show MacGyver.
From a young age Manoli realized his natural ability to embody characters and put on varying accents by often reenacting movie scenes with friends. His natural talent as an actor was further developed in high school while playing his first ever theater role as Van Buren, the coach in the play Damn Yankees. It was during this time that he also realized he possessed the natural ability to sing well, which caused him to become immediately passionate about pursuing it as a career.
At that time in his life Manoli had high hopes and aspirations of becoming a popular singer and recording artist. Reluctantly, he veered away from following this dream after high school and graduated from the University of New Orleans with an MBA. This lead to a 10 year career in Banking during which he discovered his true passion in life, acting, halfway through that career.
Manoli Ioannidis was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, to a Greek mother and Greek-American father. He currently lives in New York City where he continues to master his craft. It was there that he studied the Meisner technique of acting at William Esper Studio and was able to complete their acting conservatory program. During his time at William Esper, he discovered yet another passion and talent to hone namely in stage combat and swordplay. To date his favorite weapon to wield is a broadsword.
