Ananya Sundararajan

Ananya Sundararajan is a filmmaker and multimedia artist who grew up in India, Kenya and Bahrain. She has a BA in Film Production from SAE Institute and has participated in a Master Class with acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami. Her short films have screened around the world including: 'Funny Words' in 2015 at Nottingham International Microfilm Festival, UK & Directed by Women - Short and Fun in NYC, USA 'Big Dreams' in 2015 at Nottingham International Microfilm Festival, UK 'Intercourse' in 2014 at Anthology Film Archives, New York City, USA 'Drive' in 2012 at Malmo Arab Film Festival, Sweden & Gulf Film Festival, Dubai, UAE She co-runs production company 'Antum Reels' and her first feature film 'A Natural Disaster' is in post-production. Her filmmaking sensibility is a weird mix of Dogme 95-esque minimalism and dark comedy.
