Jonathan Angelier

Known for his towering height, Jonathan Angelier was born in Dallas, TX and grew up playing several sports most of which was basketball. However, due to a chest surgery one summer in high school he was restricted to nothing more than a couch and it was during this time where he fell in love watching movies. His first job was at a local movie theatre where he worked every position, but his favorite time was as a film projectionist. This was when he learned to truly appreciate film craft from enjoying watching audiences' reactions. Moving to California he attended the New York Film Academy located in Los Angeles and received a Master of Fine Arts. It became apparent for him to learn multiple aspects of the filmmaking process to become more effective and efficient whether he be on set or not. Since graduating, Jonathan has worked on numerous film sets in different roles, writing and developing his own projects, but also producing the award winning film Sharia (2016).
