Following a Bachelor in Political Science and a Master's in Communication, as well as two-years working in development in Paris, Hélène joined the Producing MA at the NFTS. There, she assisted Christine Vachon during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival; and produced three short films that all competed in festivals worldwide. 'Fishwitch' earned a nomination at the 44th Annie Awards, won the Verna Fields award at the Golden Reels and Best Student Film at the Irish Young Directors Awards; whilst 'Ferris & The Fancy Pigeon' won the 2017 RTS Award for Best Postgraduate Drama.
After graduating, Hélène joined Golden-Globes nominated company Filmwave as executive assistant to Paul Trijbits and Christian Grass and junior business & production executive.
But in 2016, she left Filmwave to start her own company, Kleio Films. There, she produced Caroline Bartleet's second short film, 'The Bind', for BBC Films, which played at Underwire, Tirana and won the Golden Knight for Best Short Film at Malta International Film Festival. Hélène is now developing a slate of feature films, including the iFeatures project 'Blue Jean', written & directed by Georgia Oakley, which was picked up by BBC Films, and a feature in co-production with Agile Films ('Beast') and So & So Productions. In 2019, she took part in the Berlinale Talents Lab, the Inside Out Finance Forum (with 'Blue Jean') and the Edinburgh Talent Lab. During that time she also provided coverage ad hoc for the BFI, BBC Films, StudioCanal, Working Title, Anton Capital, and STX.
In 2018, Hélène joined fellow NFTS producer Sam Bank as Development Executive for his new production company, Braintrust. She was promoted to Head of Development in January 2021. There she has established collaborations with wonderful talent like Miranda Bowen, Florence Keith-Roach, BFI-Network-backed David Drake and Brit-list nominee Cat Clarke as well as business partnerships with the US, Canada, France, South Africa and Kenya.
