Born and raised in Massachusetts, Erin took a liking to acting and theater at a very young age. Her interests for what she wanted to be when she grew up varied so wildly, that she saw acting as an opportunity to allow her to live a wide assortment of lives and lifestyles- even if they were just pretend. Her dream was to attend UCLA and become an actress.
In her youth she participated in a number of theatrical musicals and spent the summer of 1994 learning from some of the industry's best, at The Actor's Workshop in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time there she really honed in on her acting strengths and gained confidence in her talent, as well as learning to conquer stage fright- for she was the only student to perform alone on stage, as she was given a monologue to perform for the end of year production. Her mentor and acting coach for this performance was none other than the legendary, Carrie Fisher.
After graduating high school, she attended The CT School of Broadcasting, where she learned video production, camera operating, video editing, how to use a sound board, etc. She developed a love of being behind the camera there and decided to further her education by moving on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in English. While studying English and writing in college- to help her towards her future goals of creating documentaries- she worked as a videographer and video editor for a photographer, to maintain her technical knowledge in filming and editing, and gain practice for her future.
Her idols growing up were (and still are) Janet Jackson, Harrison Ford, and Bette Midler- to name a few.
Her hopes are to one day have the means and opportunity to fulfill her dreams of creating documentaries.
