Kate Corlis

Kate Corlis, born in Bend, Oregon on December 23, 1989. Raised in Sutherlin, Oregon and attended Sutherlin High School. Working as an intern for local news station KPIC for two years, during this time developing her passion for a career as a producer. Learning behind the scenes of the new world and also the producing aspects. Earning a full ride scholarship to attend Eastern Oregon University, where she studied multimedia and broadcast. After college, she moved to Texas and attended KD Conservatory, a film school based in Dallas, Texas. During this time she gained proficiency skills and learned the crafts of film making in a hands-on environment. Getting a deep knowledge of the screenwriter process, directing, producing and post-production. Kate also worked as an extra and a background actress for productions that were filmed. She landed an internship at a Dallas based film and commercial production office, where she quickly advanced to production assistant and she continued to work full time as a freelancer. Kate is living and working in Los Angeles, CA. Here she has worked her way through the LA film community and is now working as a producer. She has several ongoing projects and continues to have a passion for producing movies, television shows, and other media platforms.
