From Camden Town, North London. Gak first emerged on British Terrestrial Channel "ITV" via the hit show "The Best Mans Speech" He coached the best men and performed a full band version of his second EP "Doubtless". It gained positive reviews from most critics, including a five-star review from Blues 'n' Soul's Peter Lewis.
Gak first found his love to perform aged 5 rapping/singing amongst his older brothers, and by 9 had made his first public performance. Determined to follow up he secured management and started his recording career at 13 with Garage track 'Your Body'. Adopting the name Da Kameallion (Chameleon) due to his ability to effortlessly shift styles lyrically. He went on to record a string of future hits along side Heavenli Abdi -ex Honeyz star (90's UK girl band hit's include Finally found and End Of The Line) and Antione Mensah of 2tone Productions, the vision behind Craig David, Joss Stone and 90's soul sensation Paris.
With a supporting feature by ex Sclub7 star Bradley McIntosh aka City Boy, Gak Jonze recorded his debut solo single for commercial release via Mykali Records - "Rock Boi", Aiming for huge chart success the single is taken from the album "Intelligent Mess" -An inside look into Gak's past to present. When he's not performing on stage or presenting on screen, Gak keeps busy with an eclectic mix of off-stage/screen hobbies. He practices the martial art of Krav Maga (Eclectic Self Defence), Basket Ball, Writes Poetry, cooking, and plays the Piano....not so well.
