Matteo, born in Italy but with Colombian descent, started studying theater at the age of 11 at the C.T.A (Centro Teatro Attivo) in Milan, learning from the acting teacher Stefania Martinelli. Under her direction, he played in several pieces of classic theater (Shakespeare, Checov, Moliere, Max Aub, Goldoni etc.). By the age of 15, he was chosen as the lead character of the famous Disney Channel sit-com "Quelli dell'intervallo". He continued working for Disney for six more years in spin-offs and new formats. At the age of 19, after finishing his studies, he moved to Rome to study at the CSC (Centro Sperimentale Di Cinematografia - Cinecittà), where he discovered his love for cinema. After achieving graduation, he started his career on the big screen based in Rome. Meanwhile he continued to enrich his acting knowledge studying and working in other countries such as Spain and Colombia. In 2018 he created, scripted and was the artistic director of an english speaking sit-com for Disney Channel called "School Hacks". In the same year he was casted for the Hollywood production movie "Lamborghini". Based in Los Angeles, he continues working in Rome, Milan and Hollywood.
