Biography

Walter Westmoreland is an Independent Film producer for Ocular Pictures based out of Los Angeles California. He begun his career by producing his 4th registered screenplay into the upcoming film called Going To The Nuthouse starring Willie Macc from BET's Reality Show College Hill playing the role of Gabe and Shaun Fletcher the Indi film super star as Mike along with Lono Woodley as Norman. Walter Lee Westmoreland Jr. was born in Mobile, Alabama and raised in Prichard Alabama. He graduated from C.F. Vigor High School in 1999 with an Advance Diploma and was a part of their 1998 Alabama State Championship team. He then attended Troy University where he was a part of Troy University Trojans along with NFL standouts New York Giants Osi Umenyiora and The Dallas Cowboys Demarcus Ware in 2001. His football career ended after his sophomore year due to continuous knee injuries and he then moved on to pursue his passion of screenwriting. After graduating with his Masters in Business Administration he relocated to Los Angeles California to launch his career as a Film Producer. He started off with Going To The Nuthouse in which he directed as well. After casting all the lead roles he struggled finding the right person to play the starring role of Gabe until he connected with Willie Macc a young and upcoming actor making the transition from reality T.V. to film. He realized that Willie Macc was the perfect fit for the film due to his known swagger and comical personality. He allowed Willie Macc to showcase his talents by basing the entire film around his character Gabe. Walter Westmoreland is a very creative writer/producer and is expected to make a huge impact on film and television with his unique and unorthodox style of creativity
