Karina Lafayette (born Licursi) was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1992.
Writing her first screenplay at fourteen, and initiating a feature documentary on the 2012 Quebec Student Strike that took two-and-a-half years to direct, Karina was always as persevering as she was passionate about the work she has done.
By 2016 she moved to Toronto and had recently started developing a feature film.
Her main influences in film are Charlie Chaplin and Stanley Kubrick.
