Bragan Thomas is an actor, writer, director, designer and historian. He trained in theater at Emerson College, took his BFA in film at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. He also holds an MA in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts at NYU.
As a public speaker and historian, Thomas has lectured on a wide variety of subjects at such institutions as The Frick Collection, MoMa, The Asia Society, the Grey Art Gallery at NYU, and the Queens Museum of Art. He has also taught at Rutgers University.
Upon relocating to Provincetown, Massachusetts in 2010, Thomas established himself as a strong presence in New England theater, with a series of prominent roles at The Provincetown Theater, including Judge Shallow in Tony Jackman's "The Merry Wives of WIndsor" as well as turns as both Erronius and Hysterium in "A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum". Mr. Thomas was also honored with a full performance of his short play, "HP Lovecraft's The Picture in the House" in the November 2011 Playwright's Festival, and a full-scale, costumed reading of his full-length play, "HP Lovecraft's The Shadow Over Innsmouth," in February 2012.
Recently, his entry in the Spring 2012 Playwright's Festival, "A Bitter Cup," was judged by the Reading Committee worthy of inclusion. The play

of audience attention and press discussion, including a profile article in Provincetown Magazine, and appearances in the Provincetown Banner. He will be appearing as "Harry" in The Provincetown Children's Theater special show, "The Tale of Ibis," in July 2012 at the Provincetown Town Hall. In November 2012, he will also be appearing in the Provincetown Theater's Fall 2012 presentation, "Arsenic and Old Lace."
Mr. Thomas joined the cast of "Offseason" in January 2012, at the express invitation of the Director and the writing team, who were unanimous in their belief that only he could do the role of "Dana Fisher" justice.
