Biography

George A. Little, Jr. Filmmaker, photographer, graphic artist and actor. Born November 25, 1961 in Birmingham, AL. as Ted Marshal Johnston to Pat Johnston and Ted Marshal Connell of Huntsville, AL. Adopted by George & Ila Little of Birmingham, AL. Begin taking photos at age 6, acting at age 8. By age 14 had appeared in over 10 stage plays. By age 18 had acted and/or directed another 30 plays. Attended film school at the University of Alabama where he acted in two more plays and participated in the making of ten films, including A COMMON MAN, LIFE BLOOD, A WHITER SHADE OF PALE & SUNRISE/SUNSET which he directed. Working in radio for the next few years George concentrated on photography and music while doing the odd free-lance production on the side. In 1997 he accepted a producer position with Charter Media and over the next 10 years worked on over 1000 television commercials. In 2001 he made the short film AIRPORT LOUNGE from a script he wrote in college. He followed this in 2006 with CONFESSIONS OF A TEEN-AGED KARAOKE GROUPIE. He has also made several long form television programmes and a couple of documentaries including SATURDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. Mr. Little is currently a photographer and graphic designer for the Buford Illustrated Weekly in Buford, GA and continues to pursue his film-making career. Mr, Little is thrice divorced and has 4 children and 1 grand child.
