Federico Ahumada

Federico Ahumada, filmmaker born in Sincelejo, Sucre (Colombia). He studied Film Production and Acting for Film and TV at Vancouver Film School (Vancouver B.C., Canada). His work includes the fiction short film "Pareja de Leones", which received an honorable mention at the Indian Cine Film Festival in 2016. His first documentary feature film "Las Gardenias"; premiered in 2020 and has been part of the official selection at the Indian Cine Film Festival (Mumbai, India), at the Capri Hollywood International Film Festival (Capri, Italy), at the New York City TV Film Festival (New York) where garnered three nominations: Best Director, Best Documentary, and Best Leading Actress. It was also part of the New York Movie Awards where it was awarded Best Documentary Feature Film.
