Gary Bernard DiNardo

Biography

Gary Bernard DiNardo is the son of Donald and Carol DiNardo. He is the third of three children. Gary's love for performance started when he was a young child and he saw a production of "Something's Afoot," on television. Gary attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2002-2006 during which he realized a strong desire to become a nurse. He began attending classes, but ultimately decided to complete his Bachelors in Theatre. Following his graduation he became a flight attendant, moved to the D.C. area. During this time he worked on his his first feature-length film "Ai Means Love." He moved back to his hometown of Erie, PA , and in 2014 earned his BSN at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He then began working as a nurse and eventually earned his Master of Science Health Service Administration, and now manages a Stem Cell Collection Program. in the DC area. He has received the Washington Area Theatre Community Honors (WATCH) award for outstanding featured actor in a play for his work in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and outstanding lead actor in a play for his work in "Bent." During the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020, Gary, with Kenneth L. Waters, Jr. and Sean Michael Fraser, founded We Thr3e Queens Productions - a production group providing venues and platforms for LGBTQIA+ -themed, inspired, and created art.
