Samina Najmah is an African Descendant author, poet, screenwriter, playwright, filmmaker, and clinical psychologist. She was born in Houston, Texas to Saheeb (Dennis) Karim, a humanitarian and Safiyyah Shabazz, an actress. Najmah has five brothers and was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Najmah is the author of "It Won't Go Away' (2013) and its sequel, "It Will Be Buried" (2015). She wrote the screenplay "Indifferent Enchantment" and directed and co-produced the film with Sam Calvin.
Najmah is the founder of Trustworthy Star Productions, a production company that aspires to create an array of innovative writings that will entertain viewers and evoke a roller coaster of emotions by screen.
