Luke Christopher Stambouliah graduated with Honours in Photomedia from the University of New South Wales, College of Fine Arts. He's recognised internationally as a portrait photographer specialising in editorial, headshots, film stills and fine art photographic prints.
His first solo exhibition, Persons of Interest, was selected by Head On Photo Festival and exhibited at Sydney Town Hall. This led to his inclusion in Sydney Living Museum's international exhibition and publication, Underworld: Mugshots from the Roaring Twenties, at the Museum of Sydney. Luke's later series, Betwixt (The Black Show), became the first photographic exhibition to be held at Roslyn Packer Theatre and presented by Sydney Theatre Company.
His recent commissioned series, Legacy: A Story of Women, was sponsored by Qantas and the Department of Education and Training Victoria and launched as part of an international conference in education at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Beyond the gallery walls, Luke continued his path into film and television, shooting portraits and publicity stills for Australia's leading artists and productions.
