Biography

Baroness Kimberly Moore was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. She is active philanthropist and social entrepreneur residing in Los Angeles. In October 2009, Baroness Kimberly Moore was appointed by President Malam Bacai Sanha of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, West Africa and named the first Goodwill Ambassador to the United States of America. Moore was granted full power of attorney to execute activities on behalf of the Presidential Office and interests of the state and afforded all relevant signatory powers to carry out duties sanctioned by the office. Moore will work closely with the First Lady playing a major role on the country's development while combating various social problems in the country. Moore is originally known for her Echelon Club organization which serves as a platform to raise awareness for various social issues around the world. She is also the founder of the Kimberly Moore Foundation dedicated to creating a variety programs well recognized in the media that provide hope to children and families around the world. Her programs include the "Adopt A Letter" program which answered the wishes of over 40,000 children living in some of the most impoverished areas of Los Angeles, "Keeping Harmony Alive" campaign dedicated to saving music programs in schools and "When Opportunity Knocks" providing teens with a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience what it's like to live their dream. Moore recently launched the Adopt A Country program dedicated to answering the letters of countries in urgent need. In 2015, she answered a letter from El Salvador resulting in 5 Kimberly Moore Foundation Learning Centers. In September 2016, Moore adopted the country of Liberia, West Africa to help bring in sustainable solutions to a village comprised of 3,000 residences, many of which were devastated by the Ebola crisis. Kimberly Moore Foundation and partners felt inspired to build the first of a series of "Girl Friendly" schools tailored to the needs of the people in the community. Moore has become a recent advocate of girls education and educating women living in disadvantage villages on the important benefits of allowing their girls to go to school. In 2010 Moore was appointed Peace Ambassador for Music 4 Peace/World Gandhi Tour promoting world peace through the universal language of music along with other influential renowned leaders such as Dalai Llama, Arun Gandhi and others, founded by Tobias Huber. Moore has won countless awards for her outstanding achievement in her philanthropic initiatives. She was humanitarian honoree at the Arwey Awards, Women's Economic Forum, 16th Annual Win Awards and winner of the Loop Awards with Dr. Jerry Brown (Times Magazine Person of the Year). Moore has received 5 Keys to the City, various awards by the California State Legislature and Chamber of Commerce for her community work, and many more.
