Emily and was christened Emily Mary Bianca Turrini. She lives in West Hallam with her family. Her mum took her to her first Ballet and Tap lesson when she was 3 years old. It wasn't long before she was prancing around the house.
Emily started primary school in 1994. While there she found her first love, performing. She took every opportunity to get involved, enjoying every moment of rehearsals for school plays. She was a member of the school country dancing club who performed at local events.
In the latter end of 1998 and early 1999 Emily joined the Gregory School of dance where she trained until 2009. While training with them she took a great many examinations in Modern Ballroom and Modern Latin American under the governing body of the United Kingdom Alliance. It was in 2000 that Emily competed at the National Ballroom and Latin Championships at Drayton Manor. She watched as those around her danced incredibly complicated routines in their expensive dresses as she waited for her category to compete. Emily nervously took to the floor in her own dresses which were mere party dresses, with her teacher she entered in the 11 to 13's category. Her competition dances were Waltz, Quickstep, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba and Samba. Emily returned home that day as National Champion in both styles (Ballroom and Latin). Unfortunately she was unable to return the following year to defend her title.
When Emily started secondary school in 2001, she auditioned for every school play that arose and was eventually invited to join the school Shakespeare team. This allowed her to compete in the Nottingham Shakespeare Society Competition. In the two years she was with the Shakespeare team Emily won the award for best actress for both years, for the parts she played in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Taming of the Shrew". After she had finished school Emily did not want to simply leave she wanted to go out with a bang; so she bowed out gracefully by returning for her last stand at Secondary school as stage manager for them during their production of "The Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty".
In 2006 Emily then went on to study a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at college achieving a triple merit. She was very happy with this achievement as it was a harder course and was the equivalent of doing three A Levels. Whilst at college Emily was fortunate enough to work with Sinfonia Viva at one of their concerts as a contemporary dancer.
After college she was employed at Disneyland Paris though unfortunately she fell ill and had to return home. Once Emily had recovered she decided to join local theatre groups to get back on stage and enjoy her love of acting and performing again. "Peer Gynt" being Emily's first show after recovering.
For a brief while in 2010 Emily was training as a dance teacher. She decided that teaching was not for her as it took away her love of dancing and turned it into a chore. A feeling and frame of mind Emily did not want.
Emily has completed extra training with the Derby Academy of Acting within the practice of Stanislavski. From 24th July 2011 Emily has arranged to start weapon and stunt training with the highly acclaimed Clanranald Trust from Scotland.
She is now a full member of Equity and has a very good manager. Emily has recently completed her first movie as a featured extra in the Bollywood movie "Teri Meri Khani".
Now in 2011 she has restarted her dance training ready for competitions and further exams. Emily is very excited about the possibility of dancing at Blackpool as she has never has before and is something she would love to do.
Also earlier this year Emily has released her first major script to her manger who is pushing for finance and production. This script has taken Emily eight years to complete and in her opinion is the best yet.
