Hero Mackenzie

Hero Mackenzie is a British woman Writer/ Director based in London. Her stories interweave the personal & the socio-political. She trained at the London Film School, specialising in Direction. Hero is the recipient of the John Brabourne Award for emerging talent in the British Film & Television industry. She is influenced by British writer/ directors, Andrea Arnold, Steve McQueen, Joanna Hogg, Lynne Ramsay, Francis Lee & Shane Meadows.
