Anna Palenchuk was born on July, 11, 1983 in Kyiv, Ukraine. She started her career in 2004 and worked in the fund of Ukrainian Cinematography development at the Alexander Dovzhenko studio. Since 2006 Anna works as an independent producer, several times she was a member BERLINALE co-production market. Nowadays, she holds the position of producer in her own company "435FILMS", engaged in the creation and distribution of films in Ukrainian and international media space. In 2012 Anna produced her first full-length film "Eastalgia" (in co-production Ukraine / Germany / Serbia). "Eastalgia" was the first official Ukrainian co-production film. In 2014-2016 Anna initiated and organized the «Ukrainian Film Week in support of Oleg Sentsov» and «Ukrainian Film Days» in Georgia, Sweden and Germany. In November 2015 Anna won a grant for young professionals and became a Fellow of the Goethe Institute in Ukraine, having the opportunity to visit the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film (DOC Leipzig). In February 2016, Anna presented the documentary "Mariupolis" by Mantas Kvedaravicius at the Berlin International Film Festival in Panorama Dokumente section. In July 2016, Anna presented the documentary "Rodnye" by Vitaliy Manskiy at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Currently, Anna is a member of the DypKult Club the MFA of Ukraine.
