Onyekachi "Onye" Amadi was born January 1, 1992. The first generation Nigerian-American she was born to Ozzuruoke and Patricia Amadi. Onyekachi always had a knack for the arts and when she was in the 2nd grade she began learning to play the violin. It was then that her parents knew she was destined to be in the arts. Unhappy with the current living situations, her family moved to Santa Clarita where there Onyekachi Amadi attended West Ranch High School in Valencia, CA. She was in the orchestra throughout her high-school years and sang in the church choir. After high-school, Onyekachi was accepted into the University of Hawaii at Manoa and began her studies in Biology to one day go to medical school. When she wasn't in the classroom, Onyekachi attended auditions, and workshops to build her experience and make deeper connections. It was then that she realized that she wanted to become an actress. It seemed that acting runs in the family as well as her first-cousin Ike Amadi has also been in Hollywood making a name for himself in the Voice-Over world. Onyekachi has her own channel on YouTube where she discusses makeup tips, fashion hauls and hair tutorials. She has been showcased in newspapers for her entrepreneurial skills in her slackline business, and received praise from Jane Jenkins for her acting skills.
