Hannah Yohannes

Hannah Yohannes is an Eritrean director and producer, celebrated for her critically acclaimed, award-winning short film "Home Away, which has been featured on Issa Rae's Short Film Sunday Series. With a unique storytelling voice and a commitment to authenticity, Hannah has recently directed "The Crown" with the stellar composer, Kaia Kater, for the Canadian Film Centre (CFC). She is also developing an exciting new series titled "Mutuals". Hannah's impressive work continues to gain recognition, as she was recently nominated for Best Comedy Short Film at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival, co-directing "Hiding at a Funeral" alongside Mona Hersi.
