Fanitsa Limberis' love affair with fashion started when she was just a little girl, attending fashion shows with her mother, reading all the current fashion literature, and always studying the latest fashion trends. She began with modeling for companies such as Dillards and the Dallas Model Group. She competed in the Modeling Association of America International (MAAI) competition in New York, and took home two honorary medals, in runway and photography. Fanitsa found the modeling side spontaneous and fun, but she wanted to get more hands on and began styling and producing. Fanitsa attended the University of North Texas, where she obtained a degree in Fashion Merchandising with an emphasis in Business Administration. While pursuing her degree, she sat as President of Merchandising Inc., an organization dedicated to learning and gaining experience in the merchandising and fashion industry. It was always Fanitsa's dream to someday live and work in New York, at the heart of the fashion industry. Her dream became a reality when she interned at Marie Claire magazine in New York City. A pivotal moment in her career was when she was stylist and co-producer of a fashion show, an experience she says she will never forget. Since then Fanitsa has worked as an expediter helping buyers pick out their lines at Dallas Market, styled numerous brides, actors, actresses, local residents, and designers clothing lines. She has also styled on Good Day Fox 4, Nordstrom store trims and window displays, fashion shows and a multitude of photo shoots. Fanitsa sits as judge to many different fashion shows and events, including Miss Runway Miss & Teen. She also wrote as the Dallas Fashion Examiner for Examiner.com, has written fashion pieces for La Mode Magazine Dallas, and also writes monthly blog entries on Pret por la vie, a fashion and lifestyle blog.
