Amed is a British - Iraqi actor based in London, United Kingdom. Most recently, he has been working on 'Another Day In Baghdad' (2020) playing the lead Yahya directed by award winning female Iraqi director Maysoon Pachachi, 'Jesus: His Life' (History Channel, 2019) and Aladdin (Disney, 2019) directed by Guy Ritchie.
Other credits include; playing the role of Suleiman Faidhi in the documentary narrated by Tilda Swinton 'Letters From Baghdad' (2017), TV mini series 'Street Fighter: Resurrection' and award winning short fan film 'Predator: Dark Ages' in which Amed played the lead role as Sied, and has now garnered over 10 million views on YouTube. He also played Kyle, a supporting role in 'Chameleon' alongside renowned actor Togo Igawa.
Amed has over eighteen years of martial arts training and has worked with top action stars including; Scott Adkins ('Green Street 3: Never Back Down'), Jean-Claude Van Damme ('U.F.O.') and mentored by Joey Ansah ('Bourne Ultimatum', 'Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist') in fight action choreography.
Amed's theatre credits include performing with Theatre-Rites on critically acclaimed 'The Welcoming Party' which was the top sell out show at Manchester International Festival 2017.
