Fiona Nelson

Fiona Nelson was the chair of the Toronto District School Board, and a long-time trustee. She received the Order of Canada in 2015. The Governor-General's office cited her "For a life of volunteer work devoted to the well-being of children, notably in the fields of education and health." Her initiatives included children's health, including nutrition and vaccination.
