Biography

Ryan is a choreographer and dancer native to Minneapolis, MN but has been residing in Los Angeles, CA since 2012. Upon arrival, Ryan has been able to study under choreographers such as Nina McNeely, Denna Thomsen, Tanisha Scott, Jasmine Albuquerque-Crossiant, Kitty McNamee, and Ryan Heffington who have helped fuel his already instinctual need to create. This has led him to work with musical artists such as Florence and the Machine, The Weeknd, SIA, Beck, Katy Perry, Sam Smith, St. Vincent, Travis Scott, Tyga, and Coldplay among others. Ryan has worked on commercials and live performances for Old Navy, SquareSpace, GAP, Doritos, Puma, Kenzo, Opening Ceremony, H&M, Desigual, and Sheisedo. On television, he has been able to work on Saturday Night Live, The Billboard Awards, Netflix's 'THE OA' and 'Dear White People'; most recently he was associate choreographer on the second season of HBO's EUPHORIA. His film credits include 'Baby Driver' directed by Edgar Wright, 'Mascots' directed by Christopher Guest, 'The Bubble' directed by Judd Apatow, and was associate choreographer on Lin-Manuel-Miranda's directorial debut 'Tick, Tick... Boom!'.
