Zak Takowsky

Zak Takowsky is a New York and Los Angeles based actor and writer. He has been working in the entertainment industry both on and off camera since he was 10 years old. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California Zak stumbled into acting when a family friend suggested he find an outlet for his outgoing and creative demeanor. Soon thereafter, his parents enrolled him to train at the Young Actor Workspace with Lisa Picotte and David Kaufman, where he was immediately evaluated as "a diamond in the rough." Since then Zak has found success working in film, television, music videos, commercials, theatre, and web-series'. Not only has he worked in front of the camera, but he has also worked behind it as both a writer's and office P.A. on the Goldbergs, an intern for actor/writer/producer Fred Savage, and most recently a talent management intern at One Entertainment. What began as a singular passion for acting has since turned into a multifaceted love for the entertainment industry. Zak currently attends New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he's earning a BFA for Drama and Dramatic Writing while also earning two minors in Business of Entertainment Media and Technology and Producing. For two years he trained at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting where he honed his skills as both a theatre and screen actor. He continues to perform in plays and films while also writing his own. Zak's goal is to create art that changes the way we think and look at the world. He loves a challenge and enjoys creating all types of projects. He is eager to grow as both an artist and a collaborator.
