Darja Pilz

Born and Russia and working internationally, Darja Pilz is a passionate storyteller who shot award winning films like the tragic-comedy 'In the Nick of Time', that was screened at more than 100 festivals worldwide (PlusCamerimage, Academy Award® qualifying Short Shorts Asia in Tokyo, Best Short Film 34th Biberach Film Festival, Best Short Avanca Film Festival), and received numerous prizes. The fiction short 'Burden's Weight' telling the story of arbitrary law an guilt won the Studio Hamburg Prize and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the International Women's Film Festival Cologne. With the music film 'Eure Kinder', it is her fifth time being premiered at the renowned Max Ophuels Prize Film festival.
