Biography

Francisco Monteiro Junior was born in Teresina-PI. At age 15, he published "The Seven Lives of the Cat" (1998), by Law A. Tito Filho, to encourage culture, followed by "The Dark Human" (1999), by EDUFPI, the publisher of Federal University of Piauí - UFPI, and "The Confidant" (2003), awarded by FUNDEC, State Foundation on Culture and Sports of the Piauí, in the category Romance - Sources Ibiapina Award in 2001. Fond of movies, he has written reviews for newspapers and the internet since 1999, having published over 200 articles. He released several films, such as medium-length film "Midway" (2004) and "Sleepless" (2005), short film award for Best Video in Piauí Teresina Video Festival, sponsored by the Municipality through the Foundation Monsignor Keys. Recently launched its new audiovisual work, "Dona Maria", feature film made in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Documentary - Piaui section of loneliness and abandonment in old age. He graduated in Psychology, with a graduate degree in Educational Psychology, and is currently pursuing Journalism at the Federal University of Piauí.
