Gus Fakhouri was born on April 5th, 1990 in Chicago, Illinois. He is the youngest of four boys and has one younger sister. His entire life has been surrounded by family, athletics, and film. Gus played football and varsity basketball at Glenbrook South High School. Upon graduating, he attended DePaul University and graduated with a Finance degree in 2012. Aside from Finance, Gus studied acting, cinematography, and screen writing.
Gus had his acting debut in October 2011, as he was casted for the lead role of Window Lies; directed and written by Sayed Badreya and produced by Zoom in Focus. In January 2012, he was casted by Merik Tadros for a lead role in his first feature film Behind The Horror, a dark comedy about the making of a horror film. He has been working with writer/director/mentor Merik Tadros since then.
Ever since he was a young boy Gus's passion for film has exceeded significantly. While his first two years in the industry has brought him great success, he is continuing to work in the industry acting in several upcoming featured films in 2013.
