Yared Gebrekidan

Yared's passion for film started during his high school years. Born in Ethiopia in 1985 and raised under the influence of Hollywood in L.A., Yared's avid interest in film production developed into a career. Yared moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2004 to attend Vancouver Film School full time and completed his diploma in 2006; since then, Yared has directed and performed as a Camera Operator for feature films, independent short films, commercials, and music videos. He applied for I.A.T.S.E 669 and was ecstatic to receive his acceptance as a Camera Operator.
