Diana Starkova

Diana Starkova is a Ukrainian born and French citizen supermodel, reigning Miss Europe 2016, former Miss Ukraine and Miss Asia Pacific winner, she is also an auto racing driver and occasional film actress. Diana was born in Ukraine. She was finalist and winner of numerous national and international modeling and beauty contests. Diana's career started from Elite Model Look contest. Her early activity while beauty pageant led to a victory in "Miss Ukraine", where she had been crowned by actor Steven Seagal. Diana got the title, cash prize, crown, trip to Seychelles and chance to represent Ukraine in Miss Intercontinental 2007, where she placed 6th. She got the highest scores from the judges Alessandra Alores, Dr.Yasar Sarigul and Serpil Keskiner, but lacked the scores from Dietmar Koegerl for to take it all. Diana has appeared in advertisements for numerous brands such as Schwarzkopf, Chopard, Guerlain, Mikimoto, Dolcedonna, Payot, Beauty Palace Institute etc. She had been featured in many fashion magazines, such as Cosmopolitan, Votre Beaute, Shape, ELLE, Vogue and worked with such photographers as Mario Testino and Steven Meisel. Diana represented by Elite Model Management. She walked many shows for ready-to-wear and haute couture, combined during the Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks. Diana is also a film actress and beauty editor in a fashion magazine. She studies French linguistics in University. Currently Diana joined "Miss Asia Pacific World 2011" in South Korea. On October 15, 2011 she wore the most expensive evening gown in Ukrainian pageant history for the final of "Miss Asia Pacific World 2011". The dress made with crystals Swarovski and repeats the logo of "Miss Asia Pacific World" pageant. On October 11 Diana won National Costume Award in Daegu city. On October 15 she received Best Evening Gown Award during the final show of Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 in Busan. Diana also entered top-19 and top-7 and finished as Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 1st Runner-up. She stayed one month longer in Korea together with the winner Florima Treiber from France for the activities due to their winners contracts. During the first weeks of reign as Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 Runner-up Diana visited hospitals in Seoul, did a photo shooting for Nino Celine jeans brand, campaign for Dr.Belter Cosmetic, joined a photo shootings and signed contract with one of the leading entertainment companies in Asia SIDUS HQ, gave interviews to SBS TV channel, KBS World TV channel, visited Busan city for the activities etc. In November 2011 Diana did a photo shooting for Jinju Sang Dan Hanbok company in Seoul. She also received from Jinju Sang Dan luxury Korean traditional dress, which cost about 10 000 dollars. On November 13, 2011 Diana finished her activities in South Korea and left to Moscow for next obligations. After the pageant year 2011 Diana placed in The Ideal Beauty Award 2011 and Fresh Female Face of the year 2011, she has been ranked 5th from more than 400 beauties, who joined international/national beauty pageants in 2011. On June 16, 2012 Diana hosted Miss Asia Pacific World 2012 in South Korea. In May 2012 Diana Starkova was appointed as a new winner of Miss Asia Pacific World 2011, she replaced dethroned Florima Treiber from France. In 2011 Miss Asia Pacific World entered the grand slam pageants list along with Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss USA. Only national or international titleholders and runner ups were accepted to participate in Miss Asia Pacific World 2011. After becoming Miss Asia Pacific World Queen 2011 Diana Starkova gave to Ukraine it's first ever grand slam crown. In 2012 Diana joined two films of Ukrainian film director Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy. Recently Diana Starkova has been crowned as Miss Europe 2016. The winner was crowned with tiara signed by Chopard which is set with 678 diamonds mounted on 130 grams of gold and estimated 350 000 EUR.
