Patrick Shanahan

Patrick Shanahan is a writer-director, though he began his creative career as a painter. Maintaining a painterly approach, Shanahan's work holds distinct directorial vision. His work over the last decade with Denim Buffalo Films, though highly experimental, prepared him for his latest feature film; The Fox Hunter (2019). Shanahan has written the screenplay for the upcoming feature, Clear Lake (2019), which is a new take on the life and times of Buddy Holly and his rock 'n' roll contemporaries in the late 1950s.
