Well known musician Akala is a man who's seen both commercial success and cultural. Author, theorist and activist, he's a vocal educator and a hard hitting worker who's not afraid to tackle abstract/taboo topics that confront the establishment. Publishing his masterworks book in 2018, Akala is deserving of a bigger platform to make his voice heard.
