Roop

Shoumyoroop (a.k.a Roop) has worked as a Broadcast Post Producer, with McCann Worldgroup, executing briefs for popular clients namely Loreal, Garnier, Maybelline and the more GenZ with BMW. He has been working for over 7 years in the Indian Media & Entertainment Industry as an Editor and Post Producer. Previously, Roop worked with multiple production companies and brands as a Video & Post Producer, Director, Editor on varied projects ranging from Feature Films, Music Videos, Promos, Brand Films, TVC's and others. Having worked as an Editor & Post Producer with Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra's production company, Purple Pebble Pictures, Roop has worked on numerous feature film projects done by the company, right from the developing stage of content till the finished product. He has also been associated with a few companies as a consulting "Creative Producer", where consistently he have worked into the production execution of various concepts. Roop completed his BMM (Bachelors of Multimedia & Film Making) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, while moving ahead to have a PGDM in Film Editing from Digital Academy, Mumbai. As a hobby, he likes to play the guitar and compose music, and spends most of his weekends with friends, and or, watching movies, especially Horror and Thriller. The ultimate motto of his life is to create engaging and entertaining content, with an immersive experience for the audience and viewers, filling them with a bright smile. (p.s. - he likes to be called "Roop", as its quicker and easier to pronounce than "Shoumyoroop")
