Armenian by descent, raised in Yerevan and Moscow, Nora Ferrara is an international artist. Dance, drama, and music made up her earliest training in Russia while acting and teaching performing arts experience has accumulated on both continents.
English is Nora's third language, Spanish, Italian and Japanese round out the remarkable linguistic expertise achieved concurrently with film and theatre study at Santa Monica College, from where she graduated earning three Associate degrees with honors in 2017.
Nora trained and performed for two years in the school of famous Russian show ballet "Todes" and had theatrical performance experience as well as training at the Moscow Armenian theatre with Slava Ashotovich, the protege of Sergei Parajanov.
Upon arrival in the USA, Nora was spotted by an agent which resulted in becoming Miss Armenia USA 2008 in the Miss Asia USA Pageant.
Nora's first screenplay "Hollywood" written shortly after moving to LA, is based upon a romance begun in love, passion but overpowered by possessive violence shattering a once beautiful relationship.
The second screenplay, "Dance of Vengeance" portrays a woman no longer vulnerable to the weakness formerly associated with female attitudes, abilities and actions.
The power of both stories attracted talented actors and film crew willing to contribute time, experience and talent "gratis" to capture Ms. Ferrara's film visions optically for public edification and entertainment.
The issues plaguing society for decades are presented with values and principles in tandem with the feminine "empowerment movement" active in resolving abuse and inequality.
In 2017, Nora produced and directed a music video for Alexa Oaks "I'm the Girl" that is available on YouTube.
In 2018, Nora directed a music video for Kaera "What do you know about love", also available on YouTube
In 2019, Nora has received an award - Best Short Film in Social Drama Category for "Hollywood" which was also nominated for People's Choice Award.
