Born in San Jose, CA he was named after his Father, Ferdinand Luis Sr. He spent the majority of his childhood in San Jose, CA attending Independence High School prior to his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 2005. After his initial training was completed he began attending courses at San Jose State University.
After three years in the Marine Corps, Ferdinand served in Operation: Iraqi Freedom in 2008. Upon his return he resumed his studies and also began working on independent films and school projects. It was during college that Ferdinand also began auditioning for roles in independent productions hosted by the Filipino-American Organization Akbayan at San Jose State University.
He later graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management and a minor in Business.
Although not actively pursuing works in the entertainment industry, he has stated that he would be open to more work in the industry should the perfect role arise.
