Biography

Julia Carias-Linares is a producer and television executive whose career trajectory has taken her into TV, motion pictures, short films, commercials and digital content. Carias-Linares' expertise is in sourcing projects, developing talent and securing intellectual properties. She has worked for three of A+E Television Networks' brand - Lifetime, A&E and fyi,. She is part of the core team that rebranded the Biography channel into the lifestyle brand, fyi, as part of the Development and Programming team working on some of the top-rated series for fyi, network including Married Life (2017 Primetime Emmy Consideration), Married At First Sight (2015 Critics Choice Awards Nominee), Seven Year Switch and many more. In 2017, she executive produced Kiki Mobile, a reality, mobile entertainment news series, interviewing celebrities like Joe Manganiello, Lin- Manuel Miranda, Roselyn Sanchez, LL Cool J and the likes. Carias-Linares produced Broken Vines, a fantasy drama film. In 2012, she joined Feast It Forward - a brand that showcases goodwill and charitable giving through culinary related events- as a producer. She served as digital producer for the 2012 Napa Valley Film Festival, handling red carpet coverage and celebrity interviews. She has produced for BET Networks and the National Council of La Raza's 2010 Vote for Respect campaign. As a fearless entrepreneur, Carias-Linares is known for creating opportunities for herself which is not surprising she leveraged her love for interior design and background in television home shows to bid for a home staging job with one of NYC's top luxury residential real estate brokers. With a sharp eye for design, she beat out some well-established home-stager-designers and staged her first million-dollar listing. In December 2016, she and her husband, Alfredo launched JCL Staging & Design, a company that is rapidly establishing itself as a leader in the luxury residential real estate market in New York City, Miami & Los Angeles. Carias has written for New York's number one Hispanic daily, El Diario/La Prensa, the oldest Spanish-language daily in the United States. She studied acting at the renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and received her BA in Communications from College of Mount Saint Vincent, where she was honored with the distinguished Marjorie Connelly Award. She is married to Alfredo Linares and lives in New York.
