Carmen Child Barkan

Carmen Child Barkan was born in Santa Monica, CA. At the age of 5, her family moved to Ojai, CA "where it's safe for kids to walk to school." Upon graduating from the Ojai Valley School with honors, she attended UCLA and earned her BA in Ethnomusicology. After touring as a singer/songwriter, and providing therapeutic music for dying patients in a hospital, Carmen followed the call into acting. She performed on various stages throughout Los Angeles, before landing her breakthrough role as "Agent Sierra" in Agent Mx-z3ro, co-starring with Gunner Wright, Jose Jocquin and Julian Graham, under the direction of Brian Thomas Barnhart. She can be seen in Clint Eastwood's J Edgar and Michael Patrick Thomas' pilot A Mann's World.
