Reuben's media career was sparked by a love of music which led to a job behind the microphone with the Australian Radio Network in the Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide markets. He then completed his post graduate studies with the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and moved into the world of television.
A national anchor and weather presenter on Foxtel's and Austar's The Weather Channel, Reuben has covered a diverse range of stories. Whether the tragedy of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires, the Brisbane floods or the all-important weekend surf conditions, he's been across all things weather-related. He's featured as a guest and panelist on national TV shows around the country, including Sunrise and Today Show. He has also hosted major live events for Foxtel, including the Foxtel Lap and the St Kilda Festival in Victoria.
But his career hasn't just been cold fronts, low pressure systems and hectopascals. Reuben has presented at some of the most exciting events on the world sporting stage - the Commonwealth Games, the FINA World Swimming Championships and the Socceroos' World Cup Qualifier to name a few. His sporting knowledge has seen him commentate on everything from basketball, soccer, water polo, gymnastics and even wheelchair rugby.
He's an accomplished voiceover artist and has voiced campaigns for clients including Channel Seven, MetLink Melbourne and the RTA, and recently was the voice of the 2012 ASTRA Awards. Reuben is also a regular guest on radio stations around the country, commenting on a wide range of topics. He's interviewed some of the biggest names in the media - from supermodels to federal politicians, gold medal Olympians to chart-topping musicians.
